- I won a super cute, customized recipe box from my friend Meghan's food blog. Don't follow her blog? You should! The best part is that like 85% of the recipes are desserts. We're kindred spirits. :)
- The ladies in my Zumba class decided that I'm their "blonde Latina." Love it, love it, love it!
- Scott is a little bitter and wants the Jazz and Nets to lose the rest of the season.
- We're in the market for a new camera. Ours mysteriously disappeared/was stolen two months ago and it really needs to be replaced!
- Scott's work put the BYU game on the big screen. Productivity was predictably affected.
- Ellie and I have been taking advantage of the sunshine by spending the afternoons at the park! Apparently I play too rough because I'm now covered in bruises.
- Scott had lunch with his Mommy. I hear it was great.
- Ellie and I are in one of our favorite magazines, the Ensign! (Page 20) My visiting teacher is a photo stylist who does a lot of work for the church and she asked us to sit for a photo shoot they needed for a talk Elder Henry B. Eyring was giving for the Oct 2009 Relief Society session of General Conference. They didn't end up using any of the photos then, so they were added to the church's stock photos and I was told they could pop up anytime, anywhere. And one of them popped up in this month's Ensign! And bonus, my friends Meghan and Tracy are the laundry-folders in the picture with us! (For the record, Ellie was 4 months old, and I was 25 lbs heavier and 12 inches of hair longer than now. The picture's a little outdated already!)
- Scott smoked with the bishopric last weekend. Ha ha ha! I just love the way that sounds. One of the bishopric members has a fancy new smoker and fired it up to let everyone try it out. Scott smoked a pork shoulder to make North Carolina pulled pork. It was ridiculously amazing! I'm drooling just thinking about it right now...
- Scott bought a smoker of his very own! It should be here in time for his birthday this weekend. I'm so proud of him--he sold off all of his XBox controllers and games to get the money for it. We're such grownups.
- We celebrated pi day early by making pie last night. And pie day is the ONLY good thing to EVER come from math and I don't EVER over-exaggerate ANYTHING. ;)

I have a love hate relationship with your post. :) I actually do frequent Facebook quite often, just so I can find out information that people don't post on their blogs. But I hate that people think it's okay to go the facebook only route and neglect their blogs! Hello, your status on facebook doesn't get recorded anywhere. I just spent forever and a half reading through my pregnancy blog from last year and I just love love love having everything recorded. So please don't stop blogging! Facebook is taking over the world....
On another note, how in the world are you friends with Meghan Bishop? How random is that? Funny that you won the recipe box. I do follow her blog but I didn't enter into the giveaway.
And about the ensign, it was sitting right in front of me on my computer desk. Of course I haven't read it yet, but I opened to page 20 and saw you right away, alongside Meghan. :) Such a small world. I feel like I've seen that picture before. Maybe you posted it on your blog when it was first taken.

I agree with Stephenie. No ditching the blog. I'm jealous you won the box...I so wanted it. Scott sold XBox stuff? That is impressive!!
Ah, youre my hero! Who else ever graces the pages of the ensign and some BYU magazine? :) But really, I heart your blog! I think I've told your zumba story to other people a million times! (weird and creepy? yes. but hilarious? yes.) It's awesome!! You're awesome!! :)

Facebook is Lazy man's blogging, as you know. And I FULLY embrace it. I haven't blogged in 3 months. Life was just to darn depressing, and then I got really busy on top of it. Not quite ready to go back yet.
Now... enough about ME... Love the picture in the Ensign. I tell everyone that it is my cute niece.;-)
I can imagine that Scott was in Pork Shoulder Heaven when he got to try out the smoker. As much as you both post about food, he sounds like an amazing cook... I need to try his cooking sometime.
